Academy Lose To Late Goal

St.Patricks Academy Dungannon experienced their first defeat in this season’s MacRory Cup when title favourites St.Pats Maghera scored a late goal in Magherafelt. Deasun Quinn hit half a dozen points for the Tyrone lads with Philip Donnelly and Conor Mallon getting a goal each but a last minute Gerald Bradley goal gave his side victory on a 2-12 to 2-9 score line to send them through to the MacCormack Cup Final. Despite this defeat the Academy have already done enough to qualify for the quarter finals in the New Year.
