Among the fixtures scheduled for Monday night were two Junior League games. Errigal Ciaran Thirds travelled down to Strabane while Donaghmore Thirds also faced north Tyrone opposition when they hosted Castlederg.

The game between Errigal and Strabane was a close one with little between the sides throughout before the home side plundered a late point and emerged victorious on a score line of 1-13 to 2-9. The second fixture was  also a close one with nothing separating the two teams throughout. After a competitive game it ended all square on a score line of 1-12 to 3-6.

Oran Mc Grath was top scorer for Strabane again with 0-6 while Haydn Mc Namee (3) and Mark Mc Adams (1-0) were also on target. Kelvin Nelson , Conal Crawford, Oisin Mc Gillion and Ethan Corry each hit a point apiece. Errigal bagged goals through Ruairi O’Sullivan (1-3) and Davy Harte (1-1) but the game was ultimately decided by that late point from the home side.

Donaghmore scorers against the Derg were Rory Mc Gee (2), Oisin Howell (1-2), Sean Mc Caul (3), Dan Baird (2) and Chris Hughes (1). The Derg hit the net three times with Mark Corry (1-1), Paddy Lynch (1-0) and Caelan Mc Menamin (1-0) while Daire Corry rounded off the scoring with five points from five frees.
