Further Injury Heartbreak For John Devine.

Tyrone have been dealt an injury blow with the news that keeper John Devine has to go under the surgeon’s knife again after injuring his shoulder Devine missed out on his club Errigal Ciaran’s league title win on Sunday and he revealed afterwards that he has injured his right shoulder, twelve months after having surgery on a similar problem with his left shoulder. He is naturally disappointed with the news but is upbeat about making a full recovery again. “It happened two weeks ago at training and I’m going to have it reconstructed at the Ulster Independent Clinic on Wednesday,” said John. “It was this time last year that I went for an operation on my left shoulder so it’s a blow for it to happen again but I’m still young enough and you have to just get on with it. It’s the same situation as twelve months ago and I was back playing around March time so that hopefully will be the time scale again. I have a physio team there that will keep me right and I suppose if I was back playing in action before the end of the National league I would be happy enough.”
