A Night Of Celebration For Tyrone Ladies

While the focus of many involved with ladies football in Tyrone may be on the all Ireland junior club final on Saturday between St Endas and Caltra, the referees and senior county footballers will gather to celebrate their year’s achievements on Friday.
The Tyrone Ladies County Board will host a double presentation night this Friday (19th Nov) at Sallys Omagh where the county’s referees and senior football squad will recieve their awards for 2010. The beaten All Ireland senior finalists will recieve their medals and the coveted player of the year award will also be handed over by new County Chairman Martin Conway as he embarks on his first term in office.
Without doubt there will be special praise for the four new Tyrone All Stars The Donnellys, Cathy and Joline, the first sisters ever to collect all stars in the one year, Gemma Begley who was the senior championships top scorer and captain in this history making year Sinead McLaughlin.The evening of celebration in Sally’s gets underway at 8pm will pull the curtain down on the 2010 season.
