Academy Beaten In MacRory Cup

St.Patrick’s Academy Dungannon’s failed in their bid to make the quarter finals of the MacRory Cup at the weekend when they lost out to St.Pats Armagh on Saturday afternoon and the Tyrone lads may now require a play off to make the last eight of the competition. Aidan McGarrity scored three points with Ruairi McGlone and Philip Donnelly getting a brace each but they lost 0-11 to 0-8 in Clonmore. If St.Macartans win both of their last games it means that Dungannon will be in the play offs against St.Marys Magherafelt but if the Monaghan school fail to win both outings then the Academy are through.
