Pete Mc Crossan scored the Dregish goal and Cathal Rodgers (5), Niall O’Kane (2) and Ben Mc Farland were among the points.

CNG pushed Rock all the way but Rock’s greater finishing power proved decisive in the end. Gareth Mc Dermott top scored for CNG while Danny Ball, Paul Gormley, Paddy Harkin and Daire Devine were also on target. Rock ace Liam Nugent put on a masterclass of finishing hitting 1-9 while Aidan Mc Garrity and Diarmuid Carroll both hit three points and Enda Mallon scored their other goal.

Brocagh had their game against Killeeshil nearly wrapped up by the break as they led 1-10 to 0-2 at the short whistle. Owen Canavan hit 1-1 in the first half while Ciaran Donnelly, Mickey Hughes and Cathal Donnelly each hit a brace of points. Killeeshil improved after the break with Tomas Hoy (3), Daniel Millar (3) and Ciaran O’Neill were on target. Owen Canavan hit his team’s second goal in the second half while Mark Canavan and Justin Campbell also got on the scoreboard.

Eskra put neighbours Fintona to the sword on a day when the Pearses just couldn’t buy a score. Joe Mc Carroll opened the scoring with a point and added two more before the end. Cathal Meegan and Shane Mc Nelis got the all important goals, one in each half while Shane Hackett (3) and Eoin Mc Caffrey were among the points. On a disappointing day for the Pearses Nathan Deane (3), Cathal Starrs and Sony Mc Donagh got their scores.

Castlederg produced a very impressive second half before getting the better of Derrytresk by three points. There was little between the sides in the first half with Derrytresk leading 1-5 to 1-4 at the short whistle. The home side improved after the break with Stefan Deery, Caolan Harper and  Mark Corry stepping up to the plate. Corry hit 0-6, Darren Traynor and Jack Ramsey a goal apiece for the Derg while Niall Gavin (1-4), Cathal O’Neill (2) and Eoin Mc Nally (1-1) did most of the scoring for Derrytresk.

Killyman and Drumquin shared eight goals and twenty one points on Sunday afternoon before the Wolfe Tones emerged nine point winners. Cormac Rodgers bagged a hat trick of goals, Sean Mc Donagh hit the net and goalkeeper Enda Gormley saved a thirteenth minute penalty for Drumquin, all in an exciting opening thirty minutes. By the time the half time whistle sounded Drumquin had established a 4-8 to 1-5 lead. Frankie Mc Alynn finished the game with 1-4 while Cormac Rodgers added three further points in the second half. Killyman started poorly but improved after the break. Eamon Donnelly hit 1-6 for his team while Enda Mc Gahan finished the game with 2-1 as well as missing a first half penalty.
