The story of the game between Brocagh and Newtownstewart was the Newtown forward Aidan Mc Sorley hitting the net four times in the first half to put his team on the way to a well deserved away victory. The talented forward finished the hour with 4-2 to his name. Kevin Gallagher (3) and Turlough Mc Namee were also on target for the winners. On a disappointing day for the Emmetts Mickey Hughes (3), Justin Campbell (2), Niall Mc Closkey (2) and Ciaran Campbell were on target with points.

Glenelly defeated Killyman to earn their second win of the season. Ronan O’Kane got his team’s goal and added three points for good measure while Seamus Harkin (7) once again demonstrated his worth to the team. Conor O’Rourke, Eamon Donnelly, Ciaran Og Hughes and Cathal Mc Gahan were among the Killyman scorers.

Drumragh scored four goals on their way to a comprehensive victory over Dregish. Shane Cleary (2-6), Sean McGale (1-4) and Paul Maguire (1-1) were the men who found the net for the Sarsfields. The score line however does not really reflect the game and how well Dregish played. In a battling performance Stephen Breen (4), Niall O’Kane, Peter Mc Crossan and Mark Taggart were among the points for Dregish.

Errigal thirds had five points to spare over Drumquin on Sunday. Jody Farrell bagged a goal and a point for the winners while Pio Mc Dermott, Caolan Tierney and Michael Harte hit ten points between them. Frankie Mc Alynn once again led the line for the Wolfe Tones with five points while Cormac Rodgers hit 1-1.

Beragh travelled to Dunamanagh on Sunday and went home with a point after a high scoring and entertaining battle with Clann Na nGael. Cathal Mc Gill accounted for five of his team’s points with Michael O’Neill (3), Brendan Conway (2), Ryan Devine (2) and Danny Ball (2) also among the scores. Goals in games like these are important and Beragh’s came from Aaron Owens and Peter Meenagh. Martin Rodgers (5) and Nathan Grimes (4) bagged nine points between them while Ben Mc Sorley and Tiernan Mc Crystal were also on target.

Table toppers Eskra came undone against a highly motivated and well organised Killeeshil on Sunday losing by three. In a low scoring first half Killeeshil led 4-3 with Joe Mc Carroll, Conor O’Hagan and Ryan Gartland hitting the Eskra scores. Killeeshil produced  a strong second half and managed to extend their lead to three at the end with Pascal Donaghy, Cormac Donaghy, Packie Mc Mullan and Tomas Hoy among the points for the winners.

Clogher took advantage of Eskra’s slip up to move to the top of the table after a very impressive win away to Brackaville. Sean Mc Caffrey (2-1), Barry Mc Kenna (1-2), Conor Shields (1-2), Mark Mc Connell (1-1) and Michael Mc Caughey (1-1) accounted for most of the Eire Ogs scores.

Castlederg’s recent run of good form contined as they travelled to Fintona and came away with the points following a fine display against the home side. The Pearses led by one at the break but Darren Traynor’s goal early in the second half put the Derg ahead and their ability to convert chances proved decisive. Stefan Gallen top scored with 1-5 for his team while Darren Traynor , Paddy Lynch and Mark Corry were also on target. Aaron Mc Carney (0-5) and Nathan Deane (1-2) top scored for the Pearses.
