Declan McNulty converted a late penalty to help ensure that Drome came out on top against visiting Dungannon. Emmett McNabb, Ronan “Magpie” McNabb and Colm McRory were among the points for the St.Dympnas with Paul Donaghy landing 0-8 for the Clarkes and Paddy Quinn getting a few as well.
Tiernan Quinn came off the bench to score 1-3 as Coalisland came from behind to win at neighbours Clonoe. His goal came from the penalty spot on a day when Cathaoir Quinn, Sean Corr and Peter Herron all registered as well. Connor McAliskey was among the scorers for the Rahillys as was Stephen McNulty.
Seven points from the boot of Pauraic Meenagh coupled with efforts from Fergal Higgins and Gareth Donaghy helped Loughmacrory to a comfortable win at Derrylaughan, Sean Robinson and Joseph Donnelly among the points for the Kevin Barrys.
A late goal from Peter Harte made sure that Errigal Ciaran continue to lead the way at the top of the table after a close encounter at Donaghmore. Harte, Darragh Canavan, Padraig McGirr and Matthew McCarney all supplied points for the winners with Conor Cush top scoring for the hosts with his haul including a superb goal with Cormac McCann and Dan Toner also on target.
Carrickmore are well placed to make the semi finals in defence of their league title after winning away to Moortown. Ciaran Daly, Danny Fullerton, Martin Penrose and Lorcan McGarrity were all among their points with Blaine Ryan getting the St.Malachys goal and Peter Devlin and Ryan Kelly weighing in with 0-3 apiece.
Scores were at a premium at Moy but the home side won’t be unduly worried about that as they picked up a crucial win over Greencastle. Michael Conroy got half of Moy’s total with wing half forward Matthew Lavery getting a brace as well. Mark Carson got 1-2 for the visit0rs with Sean Fox and Dan Tuohey also on target.
Trillick are one of three sides in joint second place in the table after they beat Ardboe at Donnelly Park. Rory Brennan got the goal for the St.Macartans with his brother Lee kicking 0-9 and Sean O’Donnell getting a couple as well. Daniel Quinn got the goal for the Rossas with Kyle Coney, Shay McGuigan and CJ McGourty all landing points.
