Omagh picked up a much needed win away to Trillick on Friday evening when the big story was Lee Brennan playing for the St.Macartans having opted out of the Tyrone panel. Brennan hit three points with James Garrity and Liam Gray getting a couple each while Stephen O’Donnell got their goal. It wasn’t enough though as Damian McGuigan found the net twice for the St.Endas with Ronan O’Neill weighing in with 1-4 on the night.
Errigal Ciaran lost their one hundred percent record but at the final whistle they would count it as a point gained rather than one lost after drawing in Ardboe. The Rossas led by two at the break with Ciaran Gervin, Anthony Devlin, Darren Canavan and Callum Corrigan among the points for their respective sides. Devlin and Peter Og McCartan exchanged third quarter points before another three from the former left the Loughshore men on top. Deep into injury time though Peter O’Hanlon grabbed an injury time goal for the Dunmoyle based men.
County champions Coalisland moved joint top of the table after a narrow win away to Dromore. Eoin McCusker and Sean McNabb bagged first half goals for the St.Dympnas as they led 2-4 to 0-7 at the break, Cormac O’Hagan and Paddy McNeice among the points for the Fianna. Tiernan Quinn converted a penalty for the visitors with Ronan McNabb and Ciaran McCoy getting points for Dromore before a Brian Toner free won the day for Coalisland.
Dungannon had a good win away to Clonoe. Patrick Molloy and Lorcan Mallon scored first half goals for the Clarkes with Paul Coney finding the net for the O’Rahillys. Patrick Doris and Fintan McClure traded second half points with Patrick Quinn and Mark McKearney while James Morgan got the crucial third goal for the winners.
Derrylaughan played host to Moy and the Kevin Barrys eased to an emphatic victory. Ciaran Quinn and Ciaran Gervin got a goal in each half for the Loughshore men with Stephen McGrath, Darragh Carney and Fergal McAliskey all featuring among their points. Ryan Coleman, Declan Conroy and Eunan Deeney were on target for the visitors.
Carrickmore made the trip to Eglish and came away with a three point win. Ruairi Slane got the goal for the winners with Mickey Donaghy, Martin Penrose, Conan McElduff and Sean Loughran all providing points. Gregory Jordan got the Eglish major with Ethan Jordan, Peter McCann and Conal McNulty all raising white flags.
Killyclogher held off a late Edendork revival to win by the minimum margin at home. PT Cunningham top scored for the hosts with a goal and a number of points with Fergal Meenagh and Eoin Bradley also on target. Thomas Mallon got the Edendork goal with Stephen Corr and Conn Kilpatrick among their points.
Donaghmore collected their first win of the campaign with a comfortable success away to newly promoted Tattyreagh. Niall McKenna (2), Peter McKenna, Ryan Cush and James McCann all found the net for the St.Patricks. Kevin Gallagher and Brendan Armstrong got the Tattyreagh goals with James Darcy and Johnny Harkin contributing points.
