Errigal Ciaran and Killyclogher both made wholesale changes to their starting fifteen with the Dunmoyle based men winning the day. Damian McDermott got the only goal of the game with Ryan Lynch, Tommy Canavan, Barra Collins and Tiarnan Cox getting points for their respective sides.

Donaghmore ended their league campaign with a narrow win at home to Coalisland to make it seven unbeaten games in a row for the St.Patricks. Niall McKenna hit five points for the winners while Tiarnan Drayne got three. Paddy McNeice top scored for the Fianna while Padraig Hampsey got the only goal of the game.

Michael Cassidy grabbed a late winning goal against Pomeroy as Ardboe claimed the last remaining top four place. County duo Kieran McGeary and Frank Burns hit 0-10 between them for the Plunketts with Shea McGuigan and Kyle Coney among the points for the Loughshore men.

Ruairi Sludden, Conor O’Neill and Emmett McNabb were among the points as defending champions Dromore booked their semi final spot with a win at home to Omagh, Ronan O’Neill and Conor O’Donnell with points for the St.Endas.

Division one top scorer Lee Brennan kicked nine points with Daire Gallagher also on target as Trillick made home advantage count against Clonoe. PJ Lavery bagged the only goal of the game with Declan McClure getting a few points for the O’Rahillys.

Aidan Fullerton got a goal with Ciaran Daly and Ciaran Cuddy scoring points as Carrickmore won at Urney, Plunkett Langan and Fergal McNulty with points for the home side.

What we know…

Last year’s county champions and league finalists Killyclogher will not contest the 2017 ACL Div 1 league playoffs.

Dromore’s win today means that the league champions are through to the league semi finals.

Greencastle are automatically relegated and will play their football in Division 2 in 2018 unless they win the senior football championship.

Strabane will host neighbours Urney in a sudden death playoff with the losers making the drop to Intermediate football for 2018.
