Donnelly Vauxhall All County League Division 2
Urney 0-9 Aghyaran 2-13
Gortin 1-13 Loughmacrory 1-10
Edendork 1-14 Rock 1-13
Pomeroy 1-17 Galbally 1-13
Derrylaughan 1-11 Eskra 0-11
Moortown 0-11 Derrytresk 1-8
Killeeshil 0-6 Cookstown 3-14
Stewartstown 1-10 Kildress 1-8

Kildress were also on the wrong end of a shock result when they fell by two points away to Stewartstown. Dan Lowe hit 1-4 for the Harps with Macaulay Quinn getting a couple of scores as well. Des Treacy, Eoin Brannigan and Damian Kelly had points for the Wolfe Tones with Martin Grimes getting their goal.

John Gilmore scored a hat trick as Cookstown were emphatic winners away to Killeeshil. Matthew Carberry, Ruairi Mullan, Packie McMullan and Shane Mallon had points for their respective sides.

Sean Byrne and Paddy McNulty got the goals while Ronan McHugh fired over half a dozen points as Aghyaran emerged deserving winners at Urney, Ryan Henry and Ronan Lafferty with scores for the St.Columbas.

Ciaran Gervin got the only goal of the game as Derrylaughan had three points to spare over Eskra at the Loughshore. Tomas Carney and Joe McCarroll had points for their respective sides on a day when Eskra badly missed the injured Peter Hughes.

Diarmaid McNulty was the Gortin hero with a last gasp winning goal as they picked up a much needed victory at home to Loughmacrory. Michael Mossey and Shane Clarke were both in fine point scoring form for the winners.

Minor star Conan McLernon top scored for Moortown at home to Derrytresk with six points but they had to settle for a share of the spoils.

Darren McCurry weighed in with an outstanding 1-11 as Edendork had the minimum to spare over visiting Rock to return to the summit of the Intermediate league table. Rock battled hard throughout with Conor McCreesh hitting 1-8 and Aidan McGarrity also on target.

Galbally lost for only the second time this season when Pomeroy were worthy winners at Plunkett Park.  Frank Burns, John Loughran, Ollie McCreesh and Ryan Loughran contributed twelve points between them for the winners with Gabhan Goodfellow getting their goal. Christopher Morris got the Galbally major with Sean Murphy and Ronan Nugent getting four points each on a day when the Pearses finished the contest with thirteen men.

Aghyaran continued their recent good run of form with a convincing win over neighbours Urney in their North Tyrone derby clash on Sunday afternoon.

A Sean Byrne goal after eight minutes and points from Roger Leonard and Ronan Mc Hugh sent them in at the break leading 1-8 to 0-3 with Urney’s points coming from Ryan Henry, Plunkett Langan and Ronan Lafferty. Henry added five second half points for his team but Paddy Mc Nulty’s 1-3 and scores from Ronan Mc Hugh and Sean Byrnes ensured the St Davogs men went home with the points on a final score of Aghyaran 2-13, Urney 0-9.
