Dungannon and Urney are the new joint leaders in division two after wins over Eskra and Gortin respectively. At O’Neill Park the Clarkes prevailed thanks to points from Patrick Quinn, Matthew Walsh and Tiarnan Morgan. Cormac Arkinson got the only goal of the game with Peter Hughes top scoring for the Emmetts.
Chris Bogle got Urney’s goal with Johnny Lafferty landing six points and Jamie McAleer getting five as the St.Columbas made home advantage count as well. Christopher McClean got the Gortin goal with Eoghan McGarvey and Sean McKenna providing points.
Aghaloo had ended a six game losing streak with a high scoring victory away to Aghaloo. Niall McElroy bagged two goals for the visitors with Conor Mullen, Gary O’Gorman and Ruairi McGlone all finding the net as well. Cathal Devlin notched 1-3 for the Harps with Dan Lowe top scoring with eight.
Derrytresk secured their first win of the campaign when they defeated Cookstown 1-11 to 0-10. The Gavin brothers Niall and Aidan hit 1-6 between them with the latter getting the only goal of the game. Owen Mulligan and Christopher Eastwood had points for the Father Rocks.
Fergal McAliskey came to Derrylaughan’s rescue with an injury time penalty as they shared the spoils at home to Donaghmore. The same player had earlier scored four points with Shea Coney and Paul Donnelly getting a couple each as well. Cormac McCann scored 1-2 for the visitors with Deasun Quinn contributing half a dozen points.
Declan Conroy, Conall Duffy and Harry Loughran git Moy goals but that didn’t stop Moy from losing for the first time at home this season. Ryan Kelly was in superb form for Moortown scoring eight points with Andrew McGuigan getting their goal.
Loughmacrory remain in contention behind the pacesetters after winning away to Brackaville. Mark McCullagh, Niall Donaghy and Paraic Meenagh scored thirteen points between them for the St.Theresas. Martin Gervin got the only goal of the game with Ronan Fox getting a brace of points for Brackaville.
