Two Dale Mc Sorley goals helped Brackaville lead Castlederg at the break 3-6 to 2-4 in the closest game of the weekend. Tiernan Mc Glinchey also found the net as the Owen Roes won it by the narrowest of margins.

Beragh and Rock served up a humdinger of a game that ended in a two point win for the Red Knights. Marty Rodgers led the way for Beragh with 0-7 while Jack Campbell weighed in with 0-4. Liam Nugent matched Rodgers total with seven of Rock’s thirteen points on a day when Arthur Donaghy (3) was the other major scoring threat for Rock.

Killeeshil defeated Drumquin 2-17 to 1-11 in a high scoring affair. Ruairi O’Neill and Gary Reilly hit the net for the winners while Frankie Mc Alynn bagged 1-3 for the Tones. Pascal Donaghy landed seven of his team’s seventeen points with Ciaran O’Neiil (3) and Thomas Hoy (2) also among the points. Paul Sheridan (3) and Stephen Gormley (2) were Drumquin’s other main scorers on the day.

Drumragh are finding form at just the right time and made short work of Glenelly in their latest outing. Shane Cleary (1-4) and Shane Devine (1-2) hit their goals while Sean Mc Gale (4), Eamon Rea (2) and Barry Fitzgerald (2) were among the points. Seamus Harkin (1-6) was corer in chief for Glenelly while Ronan O’Kane landed their other score in a 2-17 To 1-7 defeat.

Eskra continued their push for promotion with a nine point victory over Clann Na nGael. Ryan Gartland opened the scoring for the Emmetts and finished the game with 0-4. Niall Mc Ginn’s first half goal helped Eskra reach the break 1-6 to 0-5 ahead. The winners controlled the second half adding a further ten points with Conor O’Hagan, Johnny Hackett and Joe Mc Carroll among the points. Gareth Mc Dermott top scored for the Clans while Stephen O’Neill, Joe Ball and Paul Gormley were also on target for the North Tyrone lads.

Clogher maintained their fine run of form as they hit seven goals and seventeen points on their way to victory over Killyman. Marc Mc Connell, Conor Shields and Fergal Mc Kenna all found the net for the Eire Ogs while Michael Mc Caughey, Rory Mc Elroy and Sean Mc Caffrey were among the points. The winners had the result done and dusted by half time as they led 5-9 to 0-4 at the short whistle. Once again Enda Mc Gahan top scored for Killyman while Cathal Mc Gahan and Sean Donnelly were also on target.
