Rock and Clan na nGael both finished with fourteen men in a game which saw Liam Nugent hit eight points for the second week in a row. Conor Ward and Diarmuid Carroll both found the net for the winners while Aidan Mc Garrity, Paudie Ward, Enda Mc Williams and Martin Corrigan were among the points. On a disappointing day for CNG which saw them manage only two points in the second half Stevie O’Neill (2), Paul Gormley (2) , Gareth Mc Dermott, Michael O’Neill, Niall Kerlin and Ryan Devine hit the points for them.

Brocagh defeated Killeeshil 2-12 to 0-14 on a day when the hoops had to play most of the match with fourteen men following a second yellow card for Packy Mc Mullan twenty minutes into the game. Pascal Donaghy (4), Liam Hughes (3), Cormac Donaghy and Aaron Mc Kenna (2 points each) accounted for most of the Killeeshil scores. Mickey Hughes and Cathal Donnelly were among the points for Brocagh while James Mc Kiver and Ciaran Donnelly bagged the all important goals.

A brace of second half goals from Pio Mc Dermott (2-3) helped Errigal Ciaran Thirds secure the points against Drumragh on Saturday.  Sean Mellon (2), Caolan Tierney (3) and Sean Mc Kenna(2) got among the points for the winners.  Shane Cleary (4) top scored for the Sarsfields while Paul Maguire, Gareth McGrath, Gareth Haughey, Benny Drumm, Aaron Montgomery, Sean McGale  and Martin Taggart were also on target with points for the Clanabogan outfit.

Newtownstewart had a comfortable derby win over their neighbours Castlederg on Sunday as they bounced back from last week’s defeat to Rock. The winners started well and were 1-9 to 0-4 ahead at the break before pulling away to win by ten at the end. Bradley Devine (1),Sean Harper (2), Paddy Lynch, Brian Coyle (2) and Mark Corry (2) accounted for the Derg’s tally while Aidan Mc Sorley (0-7), Kevin Gallagher (1-6), Sean Gallagher and Eoin Donnelly were among the scorers for the winners.

Drumquin collected two important league points following their nine point win over Killyman. Cormac Rodgers found the net late in the first half to help them into a 1-3 to 0-2 lead at the break. Niall and Frank Mc Alynn scored 0-9 of their team’s tally between them.

Clogher continued their fine run of form with a comfortable victory over Dregish. First half goals from Fergal Mc Kenna and Mark Mc Connell helped ease them to a half time lead of 2-6 to 0-2. Mattie Callaghan, Fergal Mc Kenna, Ryan Mc Caughey and Michael Mc Caughey were among the points for the Eire Ogs during a dominant first period. The second half saw the pattern continue with further goals from Mark Mc Connell and Fergal Mc Kenna while on a disappointing day for Dregish Stevie Breen, Niall O’Kane, Cathal Rodgers and Sean Gilloway bagged their points.

Glenelly lost to Beragh in a closely contested game where Seamus Harkin (6) and Ronan O’Kane (1-3) hit all but 1-1 of their 2-10 total. Martin Kirk hit their second goal while Michael Nicholas hit their other point. Once again Jack Campbell top scored for the Red Knights with 2-1 while Martin Rodgers bagged 1-3. Pete Meenagh also found the net for the winners with Hugh Franey getting their remaining point.
