Drumragh made Rock battle all the way for a point on Friday night with Shane Cleary top scoring for the Sarsfields. Cleary hit six of his team’s points while Gareth McGrath, Paul Maguire and Barry Fitzgerald were also on target. Once again Liam Nugent led the way for Rock with 0-7 while Conor Ward, Peter Ward and Ryan Crilly got their remaining scores.

Killeeshil moved into the top four of the league following  comfortable win over Killyman. Pascal Donaghy once again led the way with 0-6 while Daniel Millar (1-3), Conal Monaghan (1-1) and Enda Hamill (1-1) were all on target. Killyman battled gamely with Adam Cullen hitting 1-1, Brian Og O’Rourke 0-3 and Owen O’Rourke 0-2.

Drumquin got the better of neighbours Dregish with second half goals from Ciaran Mc Menamin and Declan Taggart proving the key scores. The home side were two up at the break following points from Liam Patterson, Frank Mc Alynn and Cormac Rodgers. Fergus Mc Crossan found the net for Dregish while Stephen Breen, Cathal Rodgers and John Paul Mc Canny were among the points.

There was some controversy at the end of the north Tyrone derby between Castlederg and CNG with a disputed final score causing debate. Castlederg won’t worry too much mind you as they picked up the two points for the win. Sean Harper hit four points including the winner while Stefan Gallen scored five for the Derg. Ronan Devine bagged the all important goal for the winners as they recorded their fourth win of the season. CNG led by three at the break and thought the sides were level at the end. Aaron Devine got their goal while Gareth Mc Dermott landed five points and Stevie O’Neill hit 0-2.

Clogher have moved to the top of the league after a hard fough draw with Newtownstewart on Friday night. Marc Mc Connell was in fine scoring form with 1-3 for the Eire Ogs while Ryan Mc Caughey (3) and Sean Bogue (2) were also among the points. Newtownstewart bagged goals from Ryan Mayse and Aodhan Mc Namee while Aidan Mc Sorley and Kevin Gallagher were on target with points.

Neighbours Brackaville and Brocagh served up an entertaining derby tussle before the Owen Roes emerged victorious. Brocagh led 1-7 to 1-5 at the break with their goal coming from Cathal Donnelly. Mickey Hughes hit three first half points for the Emmetts while Justin Campbell, Barry Donnelly and Owen Canavan landed points. Unfortunately for Brocagh they could only manage four second half points. Brackaville added to Rian Mc Hugh’s first half goal with points from Joe Rafferty, Sean Day, and Eoin Loughran while Tiernan Mc Glinchey’s second half goal proved decisive.

Eskra have run into fine form with another convincing win this time over Glenelly. Peter Hughes and Joe Mc Carroll shared nine points between them for the Emmetts while Fergal Arkinson, Cathal Meegan, Paul Turbitt, Johnny Hackett, Conor O’Hagan and Cathal Mc Caffrey all hit points for the winners. Ronan O’Kane (1-1) landed Gllenelly’s goal while Seamus Harkin and Seamus Bradley accounted for the rest of their team’s points.

Beragh continued their good recent run with a derby win over Errigal Thirds. Martin Rodgers was on song with 0-7 for the Red Knights while Jack Campbell (4), Eddie Molloy (3) and Chrissie Devlin (2) were also among the points for the winners. Sean Mc Kenna hit the net for the Dunmoyle men while Pio Mc Dermott (4) and Aidan Mc Cullough (2) were among the points.
