Dregish and Killeeshil played out a high scoring and very entertaining draw which finished Dregish 2-10, Killeeshil 1-13. Marty Bonner found the net twice for the home side while Aidan O’Kane knocked over five fine points. Dregish led 1-4 to 0-6 at the break but fought hard for a deserved draw. Shane Mallon (6), Aaron Mc Kenna (1-2) and Pascal Donaghy (3) provided most of Killeeshil’s scoring threat.

Castlederg continued their good run in the league with a 1-14 to 2-6 win over Clogher. Ace marksman Mark Corry once again top scored for the Derg with 1-6 while Niall Catterson bagged 0-4 for the winners. Pauric Keyes, Brian Coyle, Stefan Gallen and Conor Mc Callion were also on target in a well deserved win. Fergal Mc Kenna scored the Eire Og goals while Marc Mc Connell hit three of his team’s points on a day when Matty Callaghan, Paul Mc Caughey, Dominic Mc Kernan, Sean Mc Caffrey and Dermot Mc Caffrey also played well for Clogher.

Glenelly suffered a five point defeat against Beragh losing 0-15 to 0-10 at home having led 0-6 to 0-5 at the break. Seamus Harkin top scored with 0-7 while Shane Devine got his team’s other points. Johnny Woods, Ben Mc Sorley, Jack Campbell, Cathal Owens  and Niall Owens were the most impressive players for an improving Red Knights side. The scorers in chief for the winners were Jack Campbell, Marty Rodgers, Niall Owens, Paul Owens, Hugh Franey and Decky Mc Cann.

Fintona recorded their second high scoring win in a row following this seven point victory over a disappointing Newtownstewart side on a score of 1-14 to 0-10. The Pearses led 0-5 to 0-1 inside the opening twelve minutes but reached the break only one in front following a good recovery from the visitors. Brendan Boyle and Aidan Mc Sorley were the men who dragged their team back into the game. Piaras Mc Sorley drew the sides level just after the break but with Aaron Mc Carney (1-4) in good form Fintona pulled away to win at the end with their goal coming in the fifty fifth minute. Among the other scorers for the Pearses were Tommy Mc Grath (3), Cathal Starrs (3), Cillian Mc Cann (2), Niall Mellon (1) and Nathan Deane (1).

There were also wins on Sunday for Brocagh and Rock over Owen Roes and Drumragh. Owen Roes led 0-9 to 1-4 at the break on the loughshore with Brocagh’s goal coming from James Mc Kiver. However a second half goal from Ciaran Donnelly gave the home side the lead and momentum and they edged the game by two. Cathal Mc Shane (8) once again top scored for the North Tyrone men with Seamus Dooher bagging their goal.

Drumragh trailed by two at the break in their clash with Rock with Kevin Marron hitting four of his team’s first half points. Rock moved two points clear after the break before the visitors hit four in a row to take the lead. Shane Cleary (3) and Marty Taggart were the marksmen for the Sarsfields who will regret their numerous missed chances while Rock ensured they took the points hitting the net with the game’s only goal. Aidan Mc Garrity top scored for Rock with 0-5 while Conor Mc Creesh bagged 0-3 and Ryan Crilly got his team’s all important goal.
