There was to be no All Ireland glory for the Handballers of Carrickmore at the weekend when they lost out in a titanic clash to Ballydesmond of Cork. The young Carmen squad put up a real battle as they lost out by six aces on a scoreline of  95 to 89 to the vastly experienced and hotly fancied Rebel outfit at Kingscourt in County Cavan. Disappointing as it was for the Tyrone lads they will certainly gain from this experience and will look back on their individual and collective successes this year with a great deal of satisfaction.
