All Ireland Camogie Title For Eire Óg

Tyrone champions Eire Óg lifted the All Ireland Junior B Camogie title on Saturday as they saw off the challenge of Louth champions St Kevin’s on a score line of 2-7 to 1-5.

Eire Óg started well and after a strong first half led 2-4 to 1-1 with their goals coming from Sorcha Gormley and Leanne Mc Kernan. Amy Murray got the goal for St Kevin’s which gave them hope going in at the break.

St Kevins were much improved after the break and reduced the gap to six points late in the game. However the Tyrone side held their nerve and deservedly claimed the title with Sorcha Gormley being awarded the Player of the Match.
