The full time whistle sounds in Belfast and it’s a resounding victory for Glen in the semi final of this years St Paul’s Tournament. They were just too strong for Ardboe on the day. Final score Glen 2-12 Ardboe 0-6.
Just one or two minutes left and Glen now lead 2-12 to 0-6.
Less than five minutes to go at St Paul’s and it’s now Glen 2-12 Ardboe 0-4.
53 minutes away and it’s all over for Ardboe now. Glen have fired in a second goal. They now have a massive 12 point advantage. Glen 2-10 Ardboe 0-4.
51 minutes gone and Ardboe trail 1-10 to 0-4.
Thirty six minutes gone and Glen lead by seven points in a game that looks like it’s going completely away from Ardboe. Glen 1-8 Ardboe 0-4.
Glen out of the blocks fast at the start of the second half. They have extended the lead to 1-6 to 0-3.
Ardboe minor footballers are in action in the semi final of the St Paul’s tournament in Belfast this afternoon. They trail warm favourites for the tournament Glen from Derry 1-4 to 0-3 at the break. They have it all to do then in the second 30 minutes if they are to overcome the Watty Grahams team that won the tournament twelve months ago.
