Ardboe Defeat Trillick

Ardboe turned on the style in the final quarter at Coney Park on Saturday afternoon as they came from behind to beat Trillick on a 2-11 to 1-8 score line. Trillick led by three points at the break with Mattie Donnelly and Mickey Coleman among the points for their respective sides. Ardboe started the second half strongly and they took the lead with Nishy O’Neill and Gavin Wylie getting points before Mattie Donnelly got a Trillick goal. The St.Macartans looked to be in a strong position but the Rossas had other ideas and goals from Martin McKeown and Frank McGuigan helped turned the tide in their favour.
