Armagh Come onto the Horizon for Tyrone

Tyrone have been drawn against Armagh in Saturday afternoon’s All Ireland Quarter Final. The Orchard County overcame Kildare on Saturday evening to set up a tie with the Ulster Champions.  The game will precede the Dublin v Monaghan match and will throw in at 4pm.  Armagh and Tyrone have a rich history of championship action but meetings in recent years have been few and far between.

Both sides last met in the All Ireland Qualifiers in 2014.  On that occasion the Armagh men left Healy Park with a 0-13 to 0-10 win.  Only six players from the teams that started the game that day also started in the recent Down and Kildare games respectively.
