Big Wins For Tatts And Roes

There were big wins for Tattyreagh and Brackaville on Wednesday night with the Roes recording their biggest win of the season while Tattyreagh scored more than twenty points in a league game once more.
After a relatively slow start Tattyreagh bossed their game with CNG and played it at their pace. With the wind in their backs during the first half Tattyreagh reached the break comfortably leading 2-16 to 0-3. The second half for the Tatts was a test of their defensive skills and on this occasion they passed the test with flying colours restricting CNG to just three points over the course of the second half.
Once again Keelan Mc Donagh led the line in scoring with 1-9 while Joe Cartin (3), Stevie Gervin (1-0), John Mc Aleer (1-0). Niall Murray (2) and Johnny Harkin (2) all featured on the scoring charts.
Final score : Tattyreagh 3-21. CNG 0-6
The other Division 3 game of the evening saw Brackaville entertain an Urney team showing great recent improvement. After a game that saw Ronan Mc Hugh, Shea Fee and Dale Mc Sorley in fine scoring form the Roes led at the break 5-17 to 1-3 before piling on the scores and winning 9-25 to 2-6. Indeed the Roes hit 2-11 before Urney managed to get their first score of the game. Brackaville ran out worthy winners with Dale Mc Sorley and Shea Fee scoring 4-17 between them. For Urney Luke Kelly (1-2), Danny Lynch (1-0), Shea Sweeney (0-1) and Kyle Henry (0-3) got their scores.
