Brackey Folk Hoping For Success In Tucson Tussle

While Tyrone woman Paula Clarke will have overall responsibility for the Irish Junior Handball team as they prepare to challenge for honours across The Atlantic she will also be keeping a close eye on a contingent of Tyrone folk who are making the same journey. A contingent of Brackey Handballers is flying out to the USA Junior Nationals in Tucson Arizona over the festive season and included in our photo are Pol Clarke, Johnny Woods, Matthew McCartan, Gabhain McCrystal, Eilise McCrory, Maeve McElduff and Sean Kerr
This is the 5th year in a row that the club has taken part in this competition and with the talent that these players possess they are sure to push for honours and keep up the remarkable run of success that has been achieved on previous trips.
A special thanks to Cathal Gormley proprietor of Pizza Junction in Beragh who sent the team on their way with complimentary meals on Thursday night and here’s hoping that his gesture fuels a successful challenge.
