Brian Dooher Undergoes Surgery

Tyrone captain Brian Dooher has had surgery on the jaw injury which he sustained whilst playing for his club Clann na Gael against Killyman on Sunday afternoon.
It was initially felt that surgery wasn’t required after no fracture showed up on x-ray but his jaw was dislocated and he underwent an operation at Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry on Tuesday evening to have his jaw wired.
It’s a major blow to Brian and it effectively ends his season at a time when his club are pushing for the promotion play offs in the league as well as beginning their quest for the Intermediate championship title. Everybody at teamtalkmag.com and indeed Tyrone GAA wish him a speedy recovery
