Brocagh Emmetts GFC are due to host our inaugural Loughshore Tournament on Saturday 21st September, at our Grounds on the shore of Lough Neagh. Teams from the each of the four counties whose borders touch the Lough have been invited to compete against each other for the Loughshore Cup. We will be delighted to welcome and host 14 clubs, consisting of all our local neighbouring clubs and a selection of teams from further afield.

The Loughshore Tournament will consist of 2 separate competitions, the first for U-8 teams to be run in the morning and then for U-10 teams in the afternoon, with up to 200 players expected to participate. The Tournament will bring a long season for our boys and girls to end. It will be a great arena for all the players to display the skills and talents they have honed and developed throughout the year. We are indebted to the coaches and parents who put so much work into these children and hopefully they will see evidence of this work on the day.

There has been a long tradition of GAA around the shores of Lough Neagh and this Tournament will be a celebration of this. No doubt the competition will be fierce but we are confident that all the boys and girls who participate will play the game in the proper spirit and enjoy their day at the Loughshore. The standard of Football promises to be exceptional as all the top local teams have confirmed they will be in attendance. We would encourage all GAA enthusiasts to treat themselves and call in with us to see the Game in its purest form.
