Tyrone Camogie News:

The Tyrone senior team travelled to a Belfast on very cold and wet Sunday morning to play QUB at the House of Sport complex. It was the first match of the year and the players acquitted themselves well against a seasoned Queens side. The conditions underfoot were not ideal and the Tyrone side eventually found their stride and put up a spirited performance. The next match will be another friendly against Armagh possibly next Sunday and details will be circulated as soon as known.

Fionnuala McGrath and Bernie Mallon of Edendork will be managing the Tyrone Under 14’s this year and we wish them every success with a talented bunch of young camogie players. The details of training sessions and matches will be published in the coming months.

Francis Bigley of Eglish will be managing the Tyrone Minor team which has been training with the seniors twice a week. The first fixture will be in early February. Francis would like to remind all minor players from the county that the training sessions are on Tuesday evening and Sunday mornings. Could all clubs please remind their players to attend the county training sessions.
