Junior Championship Semifinal 2

The second game was a rematch of last week’s Junior league final between Brocagh and Omagh where Brocagh came out on top. Brocagh again hit the opening score in this one but on this occasion the young Omagh side fought back and scores from Aisling Kelly and Aine Cunningham were enough to bring them to half time with a 0-5 to 0-3 lead.

In the second half, Brocagh put their foot to the pedal hitting four goals which ultimately made all the difference. Strikes from Aoife Quinn and Roisin O’Neill McKee showing that last week’s goal from a free was no fluke. The game became more physical in the last quarter and both defences had plenty to work on. Omagh have equipped themselves very well in their first year of senior competition, but Brocagh showed their experience and closed out the second half with confidence.
