Under 16 Camogie Championship v Louth at Éire Óg
The Tyrone under 16 team have endured a tough year so far but ended on a more positive note in their final game.
While Louth had the first attempt to score it was Tyrone’s Lily Rose Devlin who took the first point. The home team settled well and produced some excellent team play. Hannah O’Lone delivered some excellent balls which either Devlin or Katie Rose Donnelly were able to take advantage of- the former hitting the net to take Tyrone into a four point lead.

Louth responded well and while defenders such as Mary Jane Canavan and Siofradh Cahalane piled on the pressure and Tess Daly took a final score before the break, the gap had narrowed to two points.
Half time Tyrone 1-8 Louth 1-6
The game became more physical in the second period and Louth benefited from frees within range. A goalmouth scramble saw the visitors take the lead for the first time and another point in the next attack rocked the Tyrone side. While they moved into a commanding lead, the home management and players certainly should be buoyed by a better performance to end the season.
Result Tyrone 2-11 Louth 4-13
