Tyrone hosted Roscommon in Division Three of the National League on Sunday at Pairc Eire Óg Carrickmore and despite a good start lost out by seven in the end on a score line of 2-10 to 1-6.

Aisling Jordan landed two points for Tyrone while wing half back Catherine Muldoon hit a goal and a point for the Red Hands who led at the break 1-4 to 1-3.

Roscommon tied the game early in the second half with a point from Niamh Watson before a goal after four minutes gave them a lead they maintained right to the end. Hamill, Spillane and Connell all added further points for the winners while Roisin Mc Erlean responded for Tyrone but just like the Kildare game last time out, the result was not in doubt.

Next up for Tyrone are Limerick.

Tyrone scorers: Aisling Jordan 0-2, Catherine Muldoon 1-1, Roisin Mc Erlean 0-2 and Shauna Kelly 0-1.
