Canavan Returns To Club Management
Thursday 12.12.2013
Former Fermanagh manager and Tyrone player Peter Canavan is to take charge of the Cavan Gaels club. Canavan stepped down as Fermanagh boss in September after two years in charge. He will again be assisted by former Fermanagh player Ciaran Donnelly who worked with him as coach of the Fermanagh county team.
Cavan Gaels surprisingly lost the 2013 county final to underdogs Ballinagh a defeat that saw Joe O’Connor quit as manager of the Gaels. Peter has previously managed his home club Errigal Ciaran before moving into county management with Fermanagh.
