Carrickmore PS win Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Indoor Hurling Title

St Columbkille’s PS, Carrickmore are the Tyrone Indoor 5 a side Hurling champions after triumphing in the Tyrone Finals at the Station Centre Omagh on Monday. They won all their games in a round robin competition which saw them beat off their rivals from Edendork PS, Barrack St PS, Strabane, Primate Dixon PS, Coalisland, and Recarson PS. The event was refereed by Tyrone Hurling coach Declan Sherlock and Ulster Hurling Coach, Mickey Glover. Eddie Doris organised the running of the day and Brian McGurk, Tyrone Chairman of Cumann na mBunscol presented the trophy to the victorious team.
It has been great year so far for the Carrickmore school and their manager Emmet O’Neill as they have already claimed the Indoor titles in Ladies Football and the Camogie.
