Rock returned to winning ways with a good victory away to Beragh. Liam Nugent was in fine form for the visitors with seven points to his name with Aidan McGarrity contributing 0-4 as well. Conor Owens top scored for the home side with Ben McSorley and Martin Rodgers also on target for the Red Knights.
Cookstown collected their first points a the third time of asking when they edged past Naomh Eoghan at Paddy Cullen Park. Callan Kelly got the all important goal with Matthew Carberry and Michael McElhatton among their points, the latter with the last two of the game. Eoin Devine, Tiernan Mayse and Conor Traynor all featured on the scoresheet for Naomh Eoghan.
Newly promoted Fintona also collected their first points when they won away to Stewartstown. Oran Hughes got the only goal of the game late on with Aaron McCarney kicking a number of points for the Pearses with Cathal Starrs also getting a couple. Gareth Devlin, Shea O’Neill and Gerard O’Neill all featured on the scoresheet for the Harps.
Moy made it three wins out of three when they ended Kildress’s unbeaten start to the season. The twin threat of Michael Conroy and Ryan Coleman weighed in with 2-10 between them on a night when Conor Mackle and Eoin McGeary also registered. Shea Quin top scored for the Wolfe Tones with his haul including their goal while Caolan McNamee and Coleman Loughran also tagged on points.
Gortin maintained their unbeaten start to the campaign but they didn’t have matters their own way at home to Drumragh. Liam Og Mossey, Ruairi Keenan and Peter Keenan were among the points for the winners with Eoin Montgomery, Niall McCarney and Ronan Maguire responding for the Sarsfields.
Moortown had the minimum to spare over Owen Roes at the Loughshore. Shea Lawn grabbed the St.Malachys goal and he also fired over a number of points on a night when Ryan Kelly scored a few for the winners as well. Ryan McShane and Stephen Harper hit 0-5 between them for the visitors and while Tony Devine scored a late goal it came too late in the day to save them.
Aghyaran made the long trip to the Loughshore to take on Derrylaughan and the St.Davogs saw their perfect start to the campaign come to an end. James Donnelly and Tomas Carney were in fine scoring form for the Kevin Barrys with Stephen McGrath on target as well while Ronan McHugh got Aghyaran’s goal as well as a number of points with Eoghan McHugh getting a brace as well.
Greencastle came from behind at halftime to get the better of Clogher. Cahir McCullagh top scored for the visitors with 1-4 to his name with Mark Carson getting a few points as well while Sean Connelly and David Morris were also on target. Ciaran Bogue hit 1-4 or the Eire Ogs on a night when Ryan McCaughey and Mark Bogue contributed to the scoreboard as well.
