Castlederg Open New Facilities With Crossmaglen Taking On Donegal.

CastledergOfficialOpeningCastlederg GAC continues to promote all aspects of GAA activities within the town and the surrounding areas and this weekend sees their under sixteen side compete in the Grade Four League final against North Tyrone rivals Clan na Gael. The game will throw in at 12:45pm at the home of Strabane Sigersons and is sure to attract a large crowd.
Next weekend the focus of the whole town and the club will be on the activities planned for their “Dedication Weekend” to mark the official opening of their superb new playing and changing facilities in the town. There are two days of fun and action planned for the venue with the highlight being the Grand Challenge Match between Crossmaglen Rangers and Donegal. That game, which is due to start at 12:30pm will pit the present All Ireland Club Champions against the present Ulster Senior champions and will be a fitting way to mark the opening of The Marius Mc Hugh Memorial Park. The official opening will be carried out by special guest Tyrone County Chairman Ciaran Mc Laughlin and will begin at 3:00pm.
