On a day when the senior footballers made the long journey to Castlebar to take on Mayo, the minor Camogs hosted Mayo in the Electric Ireland Minor C Camogie Championship. After a fairly close and competitive first half the Red Hands had established a five point lead 2-5 to 1-3. Tyrone remained on top after the break before they ran out 5-8 to 3-5 winners.
