Chance to join ‘Friends of the Red Knights’ fundraising initiative
Monday 06.06.2011

SUPPORTERS of the GAA in Beragh now have the opportunity to secure the future development of the club both on and off the field through a new fundraising initiative.
The ‘Friends of the Red Knights’ fundraising initiative is aimed at providing much needed financial support for the club. The money will be used to help defray running costs and aid the development of the clubs young players, as well as additional and enhanced facilities.
Club volunteers are currently promoting the initiative among all households in the parish and the Club are hoping for a favourable response from those contacted.
An attractive promotional brochure has been prepared in conjunction with the initiative and householders are being encouraged to study the document which outlines details of how the money raised will be allocated.
As well as the ‘Friends of Red Knights’ the initiative also provides a chance for people to enhance their subscription to the club’s Weekly Lotto draw which also remains a key source of income for GAA activities in the area.
The support received from households at this time will help to guide and develop the club’s core gaelic games promotion now and in the future.
