Clarkes Complete U16 Double

Dungannon completed the U16 grade two double when they proved too strong for their neighbours Edendork in the league decider at Galbally on Saturday afternoon. The young Clarkes had a strong wind at their backs in the first half and they made it count to establish a 3-6 to 0-3 interval advantage with Conor McKee getting two of their goals and Oran Mallon the other one. Edendork staged a spirited fight back in the second half with Paul Donaghy getting a few points and Tomas Mallon bagging a goal but despite only scoring once in the second half Dungannon won 3-7 to 1-7.
