Clarkes Win Kilmacud Sevens

The annual pre All Ireland final seven a side competition organised by the Kilmacud club in Dublin is a big part of the weekend as teams from all over the country compete to see which club is the best exponent of the very popular sevens game.
Over the years there have been many winners from Ulster and one or two from Tyrone. This weekend saw the title come north once again with Dungannon Clarkes of Tyrone lifting the trophy as they defeated Carryduff of Down in the semi final and Athy of Kildare in the final. The decider finished on a scoreline of 70-10 to 2-10.
