Clarkes Win Reserve Title

Dungannon denied Eglish the double in division two Reserve football when they emerged worthy 2-15 to 3-6 winners in the championship decider at Edendork on Saturday afternoon.
The Clarkes led 1-6 to 0-4 at the break with Conor McKee getting their goal and James Morgan and Dylan O’Hagan among the points for them, Seamus Muldoon and Tiernan McVeigh on target for Eglish.
Morgan got a second goal for the winners early in the second half and when McKee, Mark McKearney, James Murray and Morgan tagged on points they moved 2-14 to 0-5 with five minutes to go. Eglish finished strongly with goals from Cormac Byrne, Martin McCann and Muldoon but they had left themselves with too much to do.
