The venue for Tyrone’s Ulster Senior Football semi final has been decided following a meeting in Omagh last night. The meeting took place at the end of  Tyrone’s narrow win over their quarter final opponents Monaghan and it was decided that both of this year’s Ulster semi finals would take place in Clones. Tyrone are scheduled to meet the winners of the remaining quarter final between Donegal and Cavan on June 26th. Although Tyrone minors have also qualified for the provincial semi final it looks unlikely at this stage that the minors will get the chance to strut their stuff before the seniors at least until the provincial final. Of course all that depends on both teams being successful in their various semi final games. Tyrone completed a nice treble on Sunday when they defeated Monaghan as that makes it a clean sweep of three out of three victories over the Farney County in all grades of the Ulster Championship, minor, under 21 and senior for 2011.
