Clonoe Minors Through In Championship

Clonoe came from five points down fifteen minutes into their minor championship clash with Carrickmore this evening to win by six on a scoreline of 0-15 to 1-6. An early goal from Conan Mc Elduff helped put the visitors into a strong position but Clonoe settled and were level 0-6 to 1-3 at the break. Carrickmore missed several good scoring chances in the first half and paid the price for it as the O’Rahillys hit six points without reply in the opening ten minutes of the second half. The game was over as a contest by that stage and the home side made it through to the quarter finals on a scoreline of 0-15 to 1-6.
