A cracker of a Christmas comedy ‘ Deck the Falls’ in the Bardic Theatre on 30th December starring Ciaran Nolan (from cult Irish movie Man about Dog) and Gerard Jordan (The Fall and Game of Thrones).

Deck the Falls: What’s the story?

It’s Christmas time, the season of goodwill, time for family and friends, time for giving, time for reflection… Dead On … It’s time to party!!! Time to Deck the Falls!!! You need only one thing……a bankroll, a few shekels, a bit of cabbage and a bit of Robert! A bit of Robert???!!

Join a hoot of characters as they journey in search of the elusive Robert: 2 doormen have a cunning plan, 2 doggy men have a dilemma, 2 auld dolls have an epiphany and 2 greyhounds go on the run. And that’s just the first half.

Ciaran Nolan and Gerard Jordan have plans, scams and skulduggery to Deck the Falls this Christmas.

 

Notes for Editor

The Balloon Factory was launched in 2015 by actors Ciaran Nolan & Gerard Jordan with a view to making quality theatre with a special focus on new writing. “Em 2 balloons” the company’s debut production was premiered at Christmas 2015 and played to sold out audiences across Ireland.

CAST

Gerard Jordan is a Belfast actor who has appeared in many theatre productions in both the U.K and Ireland including the National Theatre and Royal Court in London. Gerard’s recent television and film credits include ‘The Fall’ ‘71’ ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘ Shooting for Socrates’

 

Ciaran Nolan is a Belfast actor whose television career started with the BAFTA award winning kids show Custer’s Last Stand Up. Since then has appeared in television shows ‘ My Boy Jack’ and ‘ London Irish’.

 Ciaran also starred in the cult Irish hit movie Man about Dog for which he received an IFTA nomination. Ciaran recently completed a sell-out tour of Brassneck Theatre Company’s Man in the Moon by Pearse Elliott before travelling to New York for an off-Broadway run of the piece.
