Donaghmore moved up to second place in the Intermediate league table after inflicting a first defeat of the season on Urney on Tuesday evening. The St.Patricks dominated the opening half on their way to a 0-11 to 0-3 lead with Philip Donnelly, Niall McKenna and Cormac McCann providing points, Ryan Henry and Johnny Lafferty on target for the St.Columbas. A Lafferty goal in the second half ignited an Urney comeback but two Deasun Quinn points saw the home side emerge 0-14 to 1-8 winners.
