Coalisland had the minimum to spare over Trillick at Father Campbell Park. The St.Macartans led 0-7 to 0-5 at halftime with Lee Brennan, Mattie Donnelly, Brian Toner and Plunkett Kane among the points. Jason Carberry scored an early second half goal for the Fianna but Brennan and Niall Gormley kept Trillick in front going into the closing stages before Cathair Quinn levelled and Peter Donnelly got the winner as it finished 1-10 to 0-12.
Ardboe recovered from being nine points down to earn a draw at home to Carrickmore. The wind assisted visitors dominated the opening half to establish a 1-8 to 0-3 lead with Mickey Donaghy getting the goal and Sean Loughran, Martin Penrose, Niall Loughran and Donaghy hitting points., Shay McGuigan with a brace for the Rossas.
In the opening attack of the second half Ruairi Loughran increased Carrickmore’s advantage but they were to score just once more. Kyle Coney, David Mulgrew, Caolan Mallaghan and Michael Lynn helped close the gap until Eugene Devlin’s late equaliser saw it finish 0-13 to 1-10.
