Last season’s top scorer Ronan McHugh is setting the pace again after two rounds in the race to be crowned the Begleys Sports Intermediate league top scorer. The Aghyaran sharpshooter hit 3-3 last day out and is three points clear of Joe McCarroll and Shea Coney. Ruairi McGlone and former golden boot winner Niall Gavin complete the top five. There is a long way to go with the winner receiving the golden boot award at November’s All Star awards in the Great Northern in Bundoran.
