With the increased awareness of player burnout and the need for players, coaches and managers to be aware of injury prevention Carrickmore woman Marissa Mc Kernan’s new Sports and Remedial Holistic Massage Treatment Clinic could be just exactly what the doctor ordered.

The business was launched last week at Marissa’s house in Creggan and among those present were county footballer Connor Mc Aliskey, well known GAA coach Martin Mc Elkennon and Breeda Toner of Active Financial Life. Martin and Connor were both able to avail of some of the treatments on offer while Breeda took the opportunity to highlight “Understanding Your Health” and the role an active lifestyle plays in Financial Planning.

Marissa has been involved in the Sports Massage field for a number of years now and has done considerable work with UUJ and the Clonoe GAA team in Tyrone among others. She has treated clients from all walks of life and all ages and along with her colleagues Joan and Anne Marie, is confident that everyone can feel the benefit of holistic treatments such as these.
