Club Officer Training: Important Dates.

There are two important Club Officer Training Programmes coming up in the county and all clubs are encouraged to ensure they have representation at BOTH events. The two training days are different and both will be useful for club officers.

1. Club Officer Development Course

This session takes place THIS Saturday (2nd February 2013) in Loreto Convent, Omagh from 10am to 1pm. Lunch is compliments of Tyrone County Board. This session will explore: the importance of club planning (Club Maith, Club Plans, One Club model), communications and Marketing, Alcohol and Substance Abuse (ASAP), Funding in your club (inc securing rates relief), Culture and Heritage and a feedback session on Ulster and your county.

Clubs are asked to send at least 4 representatives to this course. Registration is vital by emailing sharon.haughey.ulster@gaa.ie

2. Club Officer Training for NEW Officers

This rescheduled session will take place on Saturday 23rd February 2013 in Holy Trinity School, Cookstown from 10am to 1pm, with lunch compliments of Ulster GAA. This session is role-specific training for anyone NEW to their role in 2013. There are eight workshops at this event for: Chairpersons, Secretaries, Treasurers, PROs, Development Officers, Cultural Officers, Coaching Officers and Child Protection Officers.

This event was originally scheduled for January but was postponed due to the snow. Previous registration will carry over but anyone still to register should email sharon.haughey.ulster@gaa.ie
