Rock St Patricks GFC 100 Years Centenary
2016 is a big year for Rock St Patricks as they celebrate 100 years since their formation.
A number of events have already been held and more are scheduled throughout the year. Recently the children of Sacred Heart Primary School Rock used their artistic and creative talents in our jersey design competition and our mascot competition.
There is a packed programme of activities taking place this weekend to mark the start of what will be a very special year in the life of the club. Friday night will see our U12 Blitz for boys and girls followed by youth disco with the Blitz throwing in at 6.30pm.
Sat 21st May will see the Rock Centenary Cycle get underway in the morning. Cyclists are still able to sign up on the morning of the cycle. Our evening entertainment will start in the marquee at 7.30pm sharp. there will be a Fork Supper, Teamtalkmag GAA chat night (Special Guests) and music by J.D. COUNTRY. Special guests on our chat night include John Lynch, Brian McGuigan, Kevin Hughes, Adrian Cush, Gerard Cavlin, Enda Muldoon, Enda Gormley and many more.
On Sunday 22nd the club will stage a parade from the village to Club Mass in Tullyodonnell at 11am. The parade will begin at 10:30am. Later on there will be bubble football and sports activities with something for everyone.
Of course the Tyrone v Derry ulster championship game is taking place on Sunday and we will be showing it live at the club. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible over the weekend and all are welcome.
