Omagh CBS enjoyed a handsome 3-15 to 1-07 victory over St Mary’s Magherafelt today at Donaghmore. The “Brothers” were always on top although they were only four points ahead at the break, 0-10 to 1-03 with their scores coming from O Donnelly 0-02, E Murray 0-02, C Mc Cormack 0-01, C Loughran 0-01, A Fullerton 0-01 and A Mc Grath 0-03. The Omagh lads upped the pace considerably in the second half and despite being up against a very physically big and strong South Derry side they dominated the game and finished up convincing winners. Two second half goals from Conor Loughran and one from Fullerton were just reward for the Tyrone school’s dominance. Further points from Donnelly and superbly struck frees from Murray and Mc Grath ensured the Omagh lads got the win their play and teamwork deserved.
