Cookstown Move Quickly to Appoint New Manager

Cookstown Fr Rocks have moved quickly to confirm their new senior team manager for 2012. The Fr Rock’s men recently parted company with Chris Lawn after a hugely successful spell. During his three year term in charge Lawn secured an Intermediate League and Championship double as well as an Ulster and All Ireland title.
The new man in charge in former Antrim senior footballer and Portglenone man John McKeever. John has been working alongside Cookstown man Declan O’Neill and Peter Canavan in Holy Trinity College for the last number four years and was in charge of the U18 Markey Cup winning team in 2010.
McKeever was in charge of his own club Portglenone last year and has previously worked as a coaching officer in Antrim.
