Cookstown Fr Rocks sit top of the 3A table following win number six in the league. The table toppers have run up some big scores and some impressive displays thus far in the league but this latest win against Eskra sees them move to the top of the table over Clogher based on their head to head result.
Three first half goals helped the Fr Rocks reach the break leading 3-9 to 0-5. Eskra did improve after the break but Cookstown were not to be denied and won comfortably 4-19 to 0-14,
Among the goals for Cookstown were Nathan Connolly (2-0), Michael Mc Elhatton 1-3 and Matthew Mc Neill (1-0) while Karol Mc Guigan, John Mc Ivor, Seamus Glackin, Eoghan Donnelly and Barry Potter were among the points.
Finn and Aaron Kelly shared seven points between them for The Emmetts with Eoin Mc Caffrey, Cormac Arkinson, Cormac Hughes, Johnny Hackett and Tommy Meegan contributing points for Eskra.
